VIRGINIA LOCAL WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AREAS 14 AND 16
(Cities of Chesapeake, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Williamsburg,
and the Counties of Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, Southampton, and York).
In accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014, the Hampton Roads Workforce Council is making available the Local Workforce Plan for Local Workforce Development Areas 14 and 16 to the general public for review and comment(s). The Plan, which is for the period 07/01/2020 - 06/30/2024, will be available on the Hampton Roads Workforce Council's website and a printed copy at the offices of the Hampton Roads Workforce Council located at 999 Waterside Drive, Suite 1314, Norfolk, Virginia 23510, during normal business hours. The Plan will be available for review from 02/08/2021 - 02/22/2021. All comments must be in writing and received by 5:00 p.m. on 02/22/2021 at the address indicated above or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
